1Cup Shredded Provolone Cheese
1Cup Shredded Swiss Cheese
2 Cups Seasoned Croutons
2 Cups Sliced Porcini Mushrooms
Figure that you are serving about six large salads.
¼ LB. Bacon
1 Large Yellow Onion (Diced)
¼ tsp. Celery Seed
¼ tsp. Dry Basil Leaves
¼ tsp. Poppy Seeds
¼ tsp. Dried Hops
½ LB. Brown Sugar
1 ½ Cups Pilsner Lager
1 Cup Cider Vinegar
1 Cup Vegetable Oil
¼ Cup Fresh Chopped Chives
Cut the bacon into 1-inch pieces and fry until crisp, then add the onion to the skillet. Saute all until onion is clear, then
add the seasonings. Combine the sugar, vinegar, Pilsner into a solution and add to pan. Bring the pan to a boil,
reducing the liquid by 1/3. Turn off the heat and drizzle in the oil. At the last moment sprinkle in the chives and pour
the warm mixture over your salad components.
