This one is going to sound odd, but the blend of ingredients come together to provide a healthy and incredibly tasty
result. The burger patties in reality are more of a turkey loaf and because of this they are moist and extra-flavorful.
1LB Ground Turkey
1 1/2 Cups Bread Crumbs
1 Tbsp. Ground Cumin
1 Tbsp. Chili Powder
1 Tbsp. Onion Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
1 tsp. Dried Italian Spice
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black Pepper
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1/2 Cup Rauschbier or a Smoked Porter
Combine ingredients in a mixing bowl and form into patties. Patties should fit bun, but make them relatively thin. They
will cook evenly and will crisp up on the edges.
Cook in a skillet or on a aluminum foil lined grill until browned to desired doneness.
Burger Buns
Sharp Cheddar Cheese (sliced)
Green Pepper (sliced into rings)
Red Delicious Apples (sliced into rings) (!?!)
I realize the apple component sounds odd, but it provides texture, nutrition, and a balancing sweetness. When
assembling the burger, you can double up on the turkey loaf patties if thin enough. Other than that try and spread the
toppings in equal parts.
