Appearance
An orangish golden yellow with significant cloudiness. Head is white and short
and dissipates rather quickly. Lacing on the glass is just barely there.
Very
cloudy but as a belgian not scary. A negative is the lack of a lasting head. A
medium golden color with some lacing. The yeast variety is the guide for its
initial character.

Aroma
A nice an complex aroma...fruity, sweet, lime citrus, belgian sugar, some salt,
and some spice dancing in the background along with very mild alcohol tones.
Nice wholesome aroma. Flavors are not muted. Rich champagne-like quality, all
coming from a sour vinegar nose. Fruit scents...apple and white grape and
some spice. Nice and crisp.

Palate
Crisp and sharp, grainy flavors with mild sweet malt and saltiness, and a little
lime citrus.
Full heady malt that smacks of wheat and honey. Balanced with
some clove and coriander. Fruity, spicy, and expressive. Texture maybe a bit
watery, ...this could be more but I am not complaining, the taste is good.

Finish
Flavor and fullness awakens in the finish, even some creaminess which is mild
but present. Decent complexity with lime sweet, mild saltiness, an array of
spices...the spice and sweet flavors alternate rather than balance or cancel each
other out and I appreciate that quality. Wraps up with just a touch of alcohol
warmth.
The brew is soft and the sharp character dissipates to finish very clean
and light. Has wheat and sweet but is quite mellow.

Synopsis
A good Belgian style, some lime sweet, some crispness, some creaminess,
and an alternating array of light salt, spice, and sweet flavors. A complex and
well composed flavor profile with the only criticism being that overall it is on the
light side.
Enjoyable and quality product. On the light side but it would be too
critical to be dissatisfied. A good but light presentation of the Belgian Ale style.
