A Beer Blitz Original

Pow Pow Pawpaw Daquiri

Two Medium Paw Paws (seeded)
1 Small Lime (peeled & seeded)
1 Tbs. Sugar
4 oz. White Rum
2 oz. Water
Ice
Mix in blender and serve immediately

A Paw Paw or Pawpaw is a fruit that
grows in middle America and can be
harvested in early autumn.  The fruit
grows on large leaved trees in shady
areas near water.  A paw paw looks
like a cylindrical pear and is green
on the tree.  Off the tree, they take
about four days to fully ripen (yellow
custard-like inner).  This recipe is
pretty versitile and nearly any tropical
fruit can be substituted.  Paw paw is
the "show-off" ingredient and tastes
like a combo of overripe banana and
mango.  Feel free to have some fun
with this one.
