Beer Blitz Rater Comments
Appearance
Reddish copper tones, fair amount of cloudiness with sediment. Head is a light
tan, short in height, mostly creamy in texture instead of rocky, and relative short in
duration.
Ruby red and sort of orange, moderately cloudy. Relatively light head but
robust and powerful appearance. Great lacing masks inadequacies in overall top.
Lightly carbonated.

Aroma
Some sweet malt, grains, and an apple tartness. Had a very mild hop tone. Some
mild banana scent at the end, alcohol tones were light and well blended.
Impressively complex, a constructive criticism would be that it could have had a
bit more overall strength.
This one is truly unique, coconut and pineapple scents,
has positive ale qualities but also that of a mixed drink. Has some alcohol
warming overtones, and some sweet.

Palate
Has both crispness and creaminess. Sweet malt and initial mild spice. Pleasant
and pleasing with mild banana flavor.
Wildly interesting, a creamy consistency
with a biting fruit sweetness. Well composed, nothing weak about this beer.
Flavors balance well, a warm dessert brew that is quality all around.

Finish
Wow, a burst of strength and flavor. A true top fermenting ale, a basket of fruit -
banana, apple, pineapple, mild cherry, and other flowery notes. The end has a
muli-faceted array of dull but strong hop flavors. Finish is on the dry side with
some trailing alcohol tones.
Sweet and dry but not overly so. Alcohol is noticeable
but doesn't ruin the experience. Some citrus and brown sugar. Almost like
drinking the light beer version of a dark Bacardi.

Synopsis
Delightfully complex, a true ale, unique for a bit stronger but dull hop finish that is
also more dry than expected. Flavor profile is good and complex, flavors do not
alternate in here, they appear and vanish to make room for the next variant.
A
unique high quality product from Founder's Brewing, I feel like I have spilled a
little CoCo Lopez in my brown ale. I liked this one.
