Wheat Lager List
Appearance
a nice medium to light gold color, surprisingly crystal-clear and effervescent
since most Wheat beers are unfiltered. The head is tall, white, tense and
Styrofoam -- like with fair lacing. Golden filtered wheat with an airy white head.A
very delicate look, nice presentation.
Aroma
Decent strength with good wheat character, a peach citrus, and lastly a sharper
perfume -- like component that I didn't care for. Mild yeasty wheat aroma with a
faint lemon note.
Palate
Crisp yet smooth, basically a dual note of peach citrus and wheat, in that order
which is a fault because the peach was overdone. If this beer were a little more
strongly hopped it would pass as a Pilsner. Very gentle character, thin and
crisp, with the wheat filling the void of barley malt.
Finish
A crisp carbonation zest, more peach citrus, and finally at the very and a decent
wheat flavor briefly comes through. A little dry and refreshing. The finish is so
mild, as to be borderline non--- existent.
Synopsis
As much as I hate to be blunt, I didn't care much for this one. The appearance
was the best attribute and a perfume -- like component of the aroma was my
least favorite. The wheat flavor was decent when you get it but the peach was
more overbearing in this dual note beer. A decent drinking beer, but in many
ways I find this lighter than many light beers. I don't hate this brew by any
stretch of the imagination, but it stands on the near end of the spectrum.

Our wheat beer is brewed to accentuate the flavors of barley malt and wheat malt
while preserving the clean character of the style, creating a beer with a distinct
aroma, refreshing taste and a crisp, dry finish. Our wheat beer pairs with grilled
fish, barbecued meats and marinated pork chops.
